We were pleased to host 125+ participants and 30 volunteers this year. Sixteen youth hunters enjoyed the pheasant hunt sponsored by Kalmbach Feeds and guided by Elkhorn staff. |

2007 Activities included: Shotgun range Archery Rifle range Fishing Plus Trapping, First Aid and Pheasant raising seminars and the youth pheasant hunt. A Life Flight Helicopter and fire engines visited the event during the lunch hour. |

We first started the Family Fun Day in 1998 as a response to the Issue 1 (the Dove Hunting ban) debate. Unfortunately, our hunting heritage is daily being threatened, and we need to educate the younger generation on the fun activities available! |
