We were pleased to host 125+ participants and  30 volunteers this year.  Sixteen youth hunters enjoyed the pheasant hunt sponsored by Kalmbach Feeds and guided by Elkhorn staff.

Plus Trapping, First Aid and Pheasant raising seminars

and the youth pheasant hunt. A Life Flight Helicopter and fire engines visited the event during the lunch hour.

We first started the Family Fun Day in 1998 as a response to the Issue 1 (the Dove Hunting ban) debate.

Unfortunately, our hunting heritage is daily being threatened, and we need to educate the younger generation on the fun activities available!
